Shelley Smale-Saunders

Shelley is a self-published children’s author and illustrator whose writing journey began by creating stories for her grandchildren.

Inspired by a love of animals and the natural world, Shelley creates beautifully illustrated story and activity books designed to entertain young readers while helping them discover more about wildlife, nature and the world around them.

Her books feature lovable animal characters, including hedgehogs, otters, bumblebees, robins, red pandas, and many more, with each adventure combining storytelling with fascinating facts, colouring, puzzles, and activities.

At the heart of Shelley’s books is a wonderful message of kindness, curiosity, friendship and caring for our planet.

Carol Gulliford

Carol Gulliford is a self-published author with a love of gripping thrillers, intriguing mysteries, and storytelling.

Her first thriller was published in 2024, and she hasn’t looked back, creating suspense-filled stories packed with secrets, difficult choices, and unexpected twists. Her collection includes titles such as Behind the Lies, One Final Breath, Out of the Dark and A Price to Pay.

Carol also writes for younger readers, including the wonderfully fun The Popcorn Factory and The Things We Love, a special parent-and-daughter journal designed to become a treasured keepsake.

With more books already in the pipeline, Carol continues to develop her growing collection of stories.
